Our Aim
The aim of the children's village is in an area of 70 acres of naturall enviroment to develop a village for children, that provides them wormth, care, confort and love, to all those children who did not have the luck of being raised in a family peacefull surrounding!
The location consits of:

60 independent small wooden houses of 115 sqm each.
The houses will offer comfort and meet the aesthetic normal family homes without creating any sense institution or orphanage children

Provision of foster mothers
Each foster mother take cares and loves four children, when at the same time she has all the rensponsibilities of a true mother, giving to the children the warmth of genuine family!
The wooden houses
Each house consists of:

2 rooms that sleep up to 4 children

1 room for the mother

2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen & dining room
The children's room include, 4 beds, 4 desk areas and 4 closets. The foster mother wil have her own private room. The wooden houses will have enough space to play, both in the nursery and in the communal lounge. The kitchen communicates with the living room, open to continuous review of the living room area, to facilitate also the mother in daily obligations, while the children play . Bathrooms are quite spacious and have a washing machine . Also all the houses have a balcony around to be used as an external activity room for children when the weather permits it.

Other common areas
The complex apart from the houses which are comfortably placed in the 50 available acres, will have a central unit which will be used as a shared meeting area for entertaiment activities, for all children mothers and visitors. Socialization and interaction is a very important factor in shaping the personality of the children. The development of friendly relations and the gaining of trust among children is essential for the sense of security that we want to give to the children.
Youth Center & Library
Medical center
A medical center will exist at the children's village to provide all necessary mediacal care to the children and mothers. It will be open also for parents and children that do not have the financial capacity to provide proper medical care to their children.
A kindergarten, a youth hostel area and a library as well as a tutorial area, completes the comprehensive parenting, providing education, discipline, teamwork and superior values to the children. These facilities are open to children of the surrounding areas too.

Church & Outdoor activity areas
A Christianniki Orthodox Church is necessary in a village . The church will be open to all residents also from the surrounding areas and will function like normally like all churches. The gardens and the surrounding area are an important element to the sense of freedom and tranquility which is essential for children . Our approach to landscaping is with respect to nature and environmentally conscious . We want to try to integrate as much as possible green in the village.
